LOWNLEE /lown-lee/

adj. a word I use when something feels quiet, small, or a little sad, like when a colour doesn’t get picked or a doll is alone.

I think some colours feel lownlee when I don’t use them.

Sometimes it makes me want to play with them more so nobody is left out.

Example 1: The blue crayon sat alone. It looked lownlee but I picked it anyway.

Example 2: My doll Sylvee was quiet. She felt lownlee when the others were played with more.

I try to make everything happy, but some fings still feel lownlee.

Mummy says it’s okay to notice how things feel.
